About
I am a consultant for IT and productivity with an affinity to the automatization of processes. Whether it is classical business processes or the new media (e.g. social media), I like to set up projects, that help my clients save a huge amount of time.
I started my way into the world of computers at the age of eleven. When I was 14 I developed a program that helped to fill out bank transfer forms. And since then I have been eager to further develop my skills and my knowledge. I started my business in 1997 and implemented a lot of interesting projects since.
What you can expect from this web site?
This blog is designed to help you make your daily business workflows a lot easier. You will find topics including productivity principles, process automatization tips, social media automatization (where appropriate) and a lot more. Sometimes it is not always easy to set up those things (especially the changes in habits don’t necessarily come natural). Sometimes it takes time to get things going, but usually it is worth the effort. So I’ll try my best to assist you with that.
Productivity is a lot about efficiency. When you are doing your daily workflows more efficiently, you can get more things done. This includes the IT world. Because whenever the computer can do the work for you, you can save a lot of valuable time. This is where automatization kicks in. This means, setting up programs, systems or even developing special systems to aid you doing your work. This leads to less errors, less work and therefore less stress.
So, stay tuned for the things we are up to! Of course I’m interested in your thoughts or your problems. So I’ve tried to make it as easy as possible for you to comment on this blog. Using the Disqus comment system you can easily use the identities you already have (like Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to leave comments. I won’t take your login data, that is handled by the appropriate platform you are already using. So feel free, to comment on the blog and to contact me.
Please, note one thing. This is no place to solve any technical problems you might encounter at your computer (like this or that doesn’t work anymore, or here I’ve got this error, so how can I fix it?). There are plenty of good web sites, blogs, forums, etc. out there to assist you with that. What we will be going into here are tips and howto’s on helping you getting your work done easier.
And a last word… Since I’m born and raised in germany, english is not my mother tongue. So please be not too harsh with me, when I misspell or use the wrong grammar on the texts I write or the media I will publish. That would be very obliging of you. So, hope to see you around!
Greetings from germany,
Frank
